REGULATIONS AIMED AT LIMITING THE NOISE OF VEHICLES (CARS AND MOTORCYCLES) USED ON THE TRACK

As part of the campaign of respect for the environment and the neighboring local community, the Management of the “R. Paletti” Racetrack reminds that the activity on the track must be imperatively carried out in compliance with the regulations on noise emissions; for this reason, all users are asked to pay special attention, with respect to the acoustic issue, inviting them to take action so that their vehicles are equipped with exhaust systems suitable to limit the noise. In this sense, in the event that the sound level meters located along the track reveal that the legal limits are exceeded (98 db at the dynamic passage meant at the maximum number of revolutions), it will be Management’s right to intervene on the activities in progress, even suspending them or excluding the vehicles that produce excessive noise or with exhaust systems that do not comply with the regulations.

Thanks in advance for cooperation.

RICCARDO PALETTI RACETRACK: 50 YEARS OF HISTORY

The Varano Melegari racetrack was founded in late 1969 by a group of local enthusiasts led by Ennio Dallara, Romano Meggi, Giuseppe Dalla Chiesa, Mayor Giorgio Bonzani and engineer Giampaolo Dallara;
The racetrack has been, and still is, a gymnasium and the first important stage for many young people who later became established champions such as Alessandro Zanardi, Giancarlo Fisichella, Alessandro Nannini, Luca Badoer, Felipe Massa, Robert Kubica, and Nico Hulkenberg, not forgetting world champions Jacques Villenueve, Kimi Raikkonen, Nico Rosberg and Valentino Rossi, who took their first steps in Formula 3 and 125 at Varano.
